CrackBerry (http://crackberry.com/blackberry-kickstart-8220-smartphone-review) today, gave us a great look into the 8220 with a great hands on review (http://crackberry.com/blackberry-kickstart-8220-smartphone-review), the device has been of keen interest to some people out there seeking something different from BlackBerry, this seems to be the answer for some of those people, for others...not so much..the device imo looks nice but it seems rather a lil bulky to me for a flip phone, but I'll never be going back to a flip device anyway. The review over @ CrackBerry (http://crackberry.com/blackberry-kickstart-8220-smartphone-review) should be going on a for a few days at least as Kevin likes to cover all aspects, today was just the hardware. So yesterday (http://videos4blackberry.info/wp/?p=823) we did a regular update for the site, which included the usual suspect files..Deadliest Catch,So You Think You Can Dance,Weeds etc..etc...but today where bring you something that has been requested even before it aired lol, Affliction Banned, which aired on the 19th is now available and we even got the undercard as well for you all . my long winded rant (index.php?option=com_content task=view id=370 Itemid=204) on how bPlay (http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2563780-10553132) removed the best theme I have ever seen for BlackBerry devices...well seems I may have been heard out on that situation...Ok..Ok..so maybe they didn't hear me...maybe their is some other greater reason that the theme has made it's reappearance back at bPlay (http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2563780-10553132) , but who knows...either way it's back in all it's glory and is available for the 81XX,83XX and 88xx flavours (http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2563780-10553132) ...be sure to grab it quick in case bPlay (http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2563780-10553132) decides to pull it again..lol!!

iPhone 3G (http://www.apple.com/iphone/), the BlackBerry community is still a buzz about the BlackBerry Thunder, which from the looks of the pics released over CrackBerry today (http://crackberry.com/exclusive-first-live-pics-blackberry-thunder), seems to be shaping up quite nicely, now although the pics look kinda bland in terms of eyecandy, they do show that the device is well under development and RIM is coming serious to this one. To have a look at what we know about the device so far, CrackBerry reports the following. Tactile Response - when you press on the Thunder's screen, it pushes in just a little bit (the whole screen is sort of like a big button) and you get immediate real feedback - you hear an audible clickety sound, and can feel a buzz in your finger where you actually pressed on the display. Full QWERTY and SureType entry - hold the phone in landscape mode and you can take advantage of a full-qwerty keypad. Use the phone in portrait mode and you can enter data on a SureType keyboard. You will be able to choose/change your screen/keyboard orientation at anytime. Screen is made of glass and will feature multi-touch - the Thunder is said to be utilizing WebKit (http://webkit.org/) for it's browser engine (same as the iPhone), so hopefully that means a solid web browsing experience for the Thunder. The good folks over at BerryReview (http://www.berryreview.com) have posted some new pics (http://www.berryreview.com/2008/07/11/javelin-screencandy-live-shots-of-a-real-javelin/) of the yet to be released BlackBerry Javelin, now really theirs nothing here we haven't seen before really, but it's nice to see even more pics of the device up close and personal, now while I say their is nothing we really havn't seen before in the pics...the posting does shed some light and add's confirmation to what people have previously noted about the Javelins USB port...it's not a standard Mini USB port (as uncovered by berryreviews post (http://www.berryreview.com/2008/07/11/javelin-sports-micro-usb-jack-instead-of-current-mini-usb/) )...it shows it's self as a Micro USB slot...which is really...kind of weird if you ask me to swap it out now after such a long time of using Mini USB connectors. Now I have to admit, while the Javelin is hot, it really does look kind of aged too me...like a 8700..just updated...I'm so much more looking forward to the Bold and the Thunder. BlackBerrySync (http://blackberrysync.com/2008/07/blackberry-thunder-exclusive-shots-meet-the-media-player/), unleashed some nice new pics of the BlackBerry Thunder onto the world, from reading their article it's claimed to be running OS 4.7 and will have a carrier music store similar to the iPhone's iTunes store and will allow users to purchase songs directly from their device. BlackBerrySync (http://blackberrysync.com) also claims the Thunder's 360X480 touchscreen display will most likely will be a glass surface similar to the iPhone. Now if that is the case it should be perfect for viewing videos and pictures..and with the built in camera you should be in multimedia heaven finally on your BlackBerry.
