I Hate These Posts!

As the title says, I hate these posts...so after a good weeks worth of downtime..yet again, the site is back online...for now..it seems like a pattern has been going on now for the past little while and I don't really see and end to it coming soon, everytime I post some new files..someone gets their noses in the air and complains and has the site shut down for a few days...it's been well over a year now the site has been up and now all of a sudden it gets shut down on a weekly basis, could it be someone pissed off...probably, I've had a lot of angry people run through the site sending me nasty emails all the time..lol..but for those 5-6 nasty people their is 50-60 nice people out there that love the site..I'd like to think the site has become popular enough to catch the attention of some people, but thats not the case judging by the numbers I see on a monthly basis..the site remains a niche site for many people..so alas..in the next few hours I will have some new stuff posted up..and we'll see how that goes.

Rogers Bold This Thursday, Hefty No Contract Price!

MobileSyrup (http://mobilesyrup.com/2008/08/18/rogers-blackberry-bold-invite-thursday-august-21st/) has the skinny on the Rogers Launch party invites, the BIG party is hitting on Thursday and that's assuming the device will be avilable that day as well, if the reports from Canadian Press (http://canadianpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5gZqSi5tDRxpGVgRZ5sXeKMzhADGg) are to be to quoted..but BlackBerryNews (http://www.blackberrynews.com/2008/08/16/rogers-bold-msrp-set-at-64999-399-on-3-year-contract/) has dropped word on the No contract pricing if the $399.99 reported on earlier is not such a good deal for a 3 yr contract...you can pony up $649.99 to Rogers and walk away with no new 3 yr term, maybe an option for those AT T customers still wating for an official launch, I know I won't be grabbing it at that nor the $399.99 price point either, as much as I love and want the Bold...I can't fathom giving Rogers that much more of my cash, especially since I'm already being robbed on a monthly basis from them.

Ahh the Rogers BlackBerry Bold...long rumored and seemingly long delayed device..may finally here in the next few days, it seems as though BlackBerryNews (http://www.blackberrynews.com/2008/08/08/exclusive-rogers-to-start-bold-training-next-week/) caught wind of the inside details on Rogers training for reps regarding the Bold which is set to start next week..with another rumored launch date of August 19th..for all the Rogers Bold fans out there, let us hope that date does not come and go without bringing the Bold with it.

Hey folks, just wanted to pop on and post a quick little bit of news for you all, I notice the site has been busy over the past few days and I know their has not been a whole lot going on here, I did get a few emails with people wondering as to what was going on with me...Was I ok..How was I doing etc..etc..Thanks for those everyone, makes me feel good to know their is people still out there that would have genuine concern over stuff like that...anyways here is the skinny on a few things and reasonings as to why their really hasn't been much going on around here as of late...First off...it's summer (w00t!) during the summer I like anyone like to go out and enjoy some of the sun when I can so I sorta just been taking it easy down that road..kicking it at the beach with my son Secondly, it being summer also means their is not really a whole lot of GREAT shows on TV..some are just a lot of repeats and such, thats not to say their aren't some good shows out there as well, but they do come very few and far between lol. And lastly..I had to help some friends move as of late (seems like that crap comes with summer as well eh?) plus I had to move myself..so the past week basically has been consumed with moving vans..beer and lots of pizza to be had for all lmao, also with that came a lack of internet, but as of today (tuesday) I have my ISP showing up and the rest of my computer gear showing up as well so we'll be heading back to business once that is all taken care. PS: I'll apologize for this ahead of time, but I have had to shut down one of the main servers last week due to bandwidth concerns, rather then have to go through another ordeal like before, it was better to just lock it down..so if you see the error 403 forbidden you'll know why.Many thanks for all your patience folks and understanding during this time, and while I may have lost some users due to the stuff that has been going on, I thank all of you who continue to stick through everything and keep coming back.Bla1ze
