ColorWare has setup their website to accept custom BlackBerry paint jobs! You can either send in your BlackBerry, or order a new BlackBerry (for $50-$100 over retail) sent to you direct with a fancy new paint job. Not bad!
ColorWare is even offering a standard 1 year warranty with the unlocked phones they sell, and an option to upgrade to a 2 year warranty for another $149.
The ColorWare designer allows you to create custom colors for the Pearl, Curve, and 8800 Series. Click here to try out their designer. It's very cool, fun...and seems like a great way to customize your Berry.
For customizations, the base price is $99 for one color throughout the device. You can also choose colors for the sides, back and bottom for $15 each. The color palette to choose from includes 15 solid colors and 20 metallic colors. Pretty cool!
I'm very tempted to send in my 8800 for a custom 'CrackBerry' theme, however I don't want to give up the Berry for any extended period of time. I'm not sure I could survive without having my Berry for three to four weeks. Maybe the better option in that case would be to go with a custom skin from MyTego.com.
At any rate, check it out. ColorWare looks like an amazing one-of-a-kind way to customize your Berry!
Special thanks to our friend Ronen over at BerryReview for this one!
The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 is officially here. RIM today has announced the coming of the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 to Vodafone in Spain. Furthermore, our friend Stefano over at BB World sent word he received the an official invite to RIM/Vodafone's Milan launch party for the 8110 coming on January 30th.
And just today, I received word from one of my trusted Rogers guys that corporate store reps are going to be receiving their 8110 Pearl demos this week. Not hard to believe considering we have already had BlackBerry Pearl 8110 in the wild sightings. It looks like Canadians will have to continue to wait to see a WiFi enabled BlackBerry hit Canada - it seems Rogers will introduce an 8110 before an 8120 or 8320. It raises a good question...if you have to choose between having GPS and WiFi on a device (all other things equal), which would you go for?
Not Pearl 8110 related, but potentially of even greater importance, BlackBerrySync is stating that a CDMA version of the Curve, the 8330, is on its way (apparently fact, not just hope) and that we may even see it before WES in May!

mScorecard is a pretty nifty application that allows you to maintain a golf scorecard while out on the green. They claim that it is as quick to use as paper scorecards but you can call me a sceptic. The program calculates scores, handicaps, stableford points, sidegames and advanced round statistics for up to five players simultaneously. (I did not even know what a stableford point was
)
The new version of mScorecard brings a couple new tricks to the table. The most notable is that the application now makes use of GPS and allows you to later track your movements on Google Maps. There is a trial option available and the application is going for $19.95 on most store websites.
PS: If you are looking for a much lighter free golf scorecard check out Wireless18
From the mScorecard website:
mScorecard™ allows you to:
- Track strokes and putts along with fairway hits, greens in regulation, up-and-downs, sand saves and penalties for up to five players per round. Enter scores and shot details in a matter of seconds per hole.
- Store full game histories and advanced round statistics on your phone along with an unlimited number of courses, players and rounds. Or post them on our server for detailed analysis.
- Use GPS to view your distance to the green at all times.
- Calculate and track your handicap index automatically based on played rounds. mScorecard™ supports multiple handicap systems in different countries.
- Analyze rounds and statistics to manage and improve your game.
- Wager and play popular side games, including Skins, Nassau, Match Play, Stroke Play, Stableford, Greenies, Longest Drive, Birdies, Eagles.
- Share scorecards and stats with your friends via e-mail.
- Access our Internet portal with advanced analysis tools, course downloads, round storage, handicap tracker and other features.
Josep just sent me a link to a cool new tool for SQL DBAs. Idera has just release a cool new tool for mobile DBA’s offering them some peace of mind. I know quite a few DBAs that have to constantly carry around a laptop to monitor their SQL databases. This new commercial application from Idera hopes to ease their mind a little by offering the ability to manage SQL, view metrics, and take action on them from your BlackBerry.
The cost for Idera Mobile SQL Manager is quite high out of the regular consumers reach at $795 but in most cases such software is paid for by your company.
The tool is available for download at this link. Idera seems to be a little confused about what devices the software is compatible with. In their press release they mention that it is compatible with the 8700 and 7200 series devices. On their website they say it works with any OS 4.1 or 4.2 devices. To top it all in the product page they have an image of the software running on a BlackBerry 8800.
From their website:
Product Highlights:
- Manage SQL Servers from a mobile device
- See real-time performance metrics
- Create custom alerts
- Take action to quickly fix issues
SQL mobile manager is a portable monitoring and administration tool for Microsoft SQL Server. It enables database administrators to securely manage their SQL Server environments from a remote location using a Windows Mobile or a BlackBerry mobile device. Easy-to-install and use, SQL mobile manager combines real-time monitoring and instant alerting with powerful diagnostics and remediation capabilities enabling database administrators to assure the performance and availability of their SQL Servers 24 X 7 no matter where they are.
- Reduces downtime SQL mobile manager instantly notifies you of problems with your SQL Server infrastructure. Powerful diagnostic and management functions enable rapid responses and remediation dramatically reducing down time for your SQL Server infrastructure.
- Reduce support costs Rapid responses to individual incidents reduces the time spent on support activities. The ability to proactively manage your SQL Server infrastructure from remote locations reduces the requirement for on-site visits.
- Peace of Mind SQL mobile manager provides anytime, anywhere access to instant information about your SQL Server environment. Anytime you want to actively check the status for a SQL Server, say during periods of heavy load, or when critical jobs are running, the information is immediately at your fingertips.

I know this is a bit of old news after we mentioned back in December that ColorWare was going to start doing custom paint jobs for BlackBerry devices. Well it has been a few weeks and ColorWare seems to have setup their website to accept BlackBerry pain jobs. They are currently offering the service for the BlackBerry 8100 Pearl, 8300 Curve, & 8800 series devices. Before you ask it does include the 8830, 8130, 8120, 8110… series devices. I just wish they would allow you to print a graphic on the back of the case.

Check out the hot mockups I have created in their designer.
The interesting twist is that ColorWare is offering two different options for getting the devices. You can either send in your device for $99 OR you can purchase an unlocked version painted for about $50–$100 over retail. That means you can pick up an unlocked 8310 or 8320 for $499…and so on. They even offer a standard free 1year warranty with these unlocked phones and an option to upgrade to a 2year warranty for $149 extra. The only reason I mention it is because this is the first vendor I have ever seen offer such a product.

The options for coloring are downright cool. The base price is $99 for one color throughout the device. You can also choose a different color for the sides, back, and bottom for $15 per addition. You can choose from 15 solid colors and 20 metallic colors. The two color types are metallic and solid. Metallic colors have tiny flakes within the shade that add a little variation and sparkle to the color. The exact appearance of a metallic color does vary based on the type and angle of light hitting the surface. Solid colors are pure color, with no effects or variation. All colors come in a high-gloss, scratch-resistant finish. The coloring comes with a 30 day full warranty and a 1 year warranty on labor. (not sure what that means
)
The are a few downsides to this deal. First of all imagine sending in your BlackBerry in for repair painted like this! Second of all you need to live without your Berry for 3–4 weeks while they paint it.

Yep, it’s all good and official now, shortly after the invitations to Vodafone’s Italian launch party were sent out. In order to accent the maiden voyage of the GPS-enabled Pearl, Vodafone’s giving out a free year of its navigation software and unlimited plans for 25€/month on a BES and 15€/month for BIS users. The release only mentions a black case, so those other colours are probably Italian exclusives. Tough break, Spain. Regardless, this is the first new BlackBerry of 2008 and knocks off one of the four or five that we can look forward to. What’s next? The 8110 will be packing a 89 € pricetag, or $US 130, for anyone looking to grab one.

The application also includes Roxio Photosuite® 9 LE for enhancing pictures and creating photo albums on the PC.
• Supports the Bluetooth® stereo audio profile (A2DP/AVRCP), and comes with a standard 3.5 mm stereo headset jack so that users can plug in their preferred headphones or speakers.

I know the big trend now is to target women with mobile electronics but this is just overkill. GeekSugar has the skinny on the new Gold Python BlackBerry Purse. This purse by Violet May in London is just plain Fugly. I don’t know a woman who would be caught dead pulling one of these out of her purse but I guess you never know. This may be the next big Valentines Day gift!
(See what women have to say in their comments)
You can pick one up for $390 today if you are interested. What I actually found nice was that they do have “snake” and “lamb” versions of the purse that actually look pretty good. The thing is that the $370 and $330 price tag on each is more than most would swallow for such a case.

Hope you enjoyed the laugh!
Extra Juice, No Extra Size Required
Having noticed a steady decline in the performance of my BlackBerry 8800 battery, I decided to give one of the Seidio Extended batteries a try. I had heard good things about them, so I thought it would be worth a shot. I especially liked the fact that Seidio's 1600mAh battery would extend the battery life of my 8800 but not its phyiscal size as it fits under the standard battery cover. In the end, I haven't been disappointed! Read on for my findings!
Concrete Software has just released Aces Solitaire which is a collection of over 15 solitaire games for $14.99. This game costs almost double what the competition charges but you are getting 15 games. This may be a perfect solution for passing the time between meetings.
The Aces Solitaire game includes FreeCell, Spider, Klondike, Pyramid, Golf, and an undisclosed 10 more games. I can’t understand why they would not just tell you what the other 10 games are
. There is a trial option but it seems to be a desktop only “.exe” file.

Concrete Software is still new in the BlackBerry game market but they really need to get a move on maturing. For example offering OTA downloads would be a start. Or getting a web designer to update their copyright footer from 2005. Or even simply making the subtitle under each screenshot a larger font than the current 5pt font. (I know I am a nitpick
but check out their website if you don’t believe me)
From their website and press release:

RIM has recently been making some serious promises and has yet to deliver on any of them. The funny part is that they keep their new devices under tight wrap until they are released but when it comes to software they just talk and talk for months in advance. These scheduled updates will (supposedly
) be coming with the new release of BlackBerry Enterprise Server 4.1 Service Pack 5 in the first half of 2008. These include the HTML email support I just ranted about yesterday.
RIM is really getting a reputation for announcing features so far in advance that people I just get tired of mentioning them. For example do your remember BlackBerry Unite! How about the virtual BlackBerry experience for Windows Mobile? When are they ever going to be released? At least we found out that Documents To Go by DataViz was delayed because of integration with the new BlackBerry device software.
From the press release:
Enhanced Messaging and Collaboration
The BlackBerry Enterprise Solution is a complete, end-to-end wireless platform that extends the benefits of an organization’s messaging and collaboration environment to mobile users. Updates to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry device software1 will enable customers to further enhance usability and increase end-user productivity.
- Document Downloading and Editing – As a result of the integration of the ‘Documents To Go® by DataViz®’ software with the BlackBerry platform, users will be able to edit Microsoft® Office Word, PowerPoint® and Excel® files2 directly on their BlackBerry smartphone.
- Remote Search for Messages – Users will be able to search for and retrieve email messages from their email server even if the message is no longer stored on their BlackBerry smartphone.
- Free-Busy Calendar Lookup – Users on the go will be able to check the availability of colleagues before sending a meeting request.
- HTML and Rich Text Email Rendering – BlackBerry smartphone users will be able to view HTML and rich text email messages with original formatting preserved including font colors and styles, embedded images, hyperlinks, tables, bullets and other formatting.
- Advanced Enterprise Instant Messaging and Presence – New features for users running IBM Lotus Sametime® and Microsoft Live Communications Server will include improved address book integration, IM contact “click to call”, IM session “convert to call” and advanced emoticon support, allowing co-workers to collaborate and communicate more effectively using their BlackBerry smartphones.
Simpler Management and Support
BlackBerry Enterprise Server provides IT groups with industry-leading management and support capabilities. New features will further improve and simplify the administration of BlackBerry deployments.
- BlackBerry Monitoring Service – A new software component of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server will help organizations maintain high availability and high performance of their BlackBerry infrastructure by providing administrators with enhanced monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting and reporting capabilities. BlackBerry Monitoring Service will be included in the next release of BlackBerry Enterprise Server3.
- BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager – A web-based device management console has been designed to increase deployment flexibility and simplify software upgrades by reducing the number of BlackBerry software components installed on end-user workstations. BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager enables users to install software and manage their BlackBerry smartphone from any browser-enabled computer. The software is available now as a free download from: www.blackberry.com/go/webdesktop.
- Over-the-Air Device Software Upgrades4– Organizations will be able to update a user’s BlackBerry device software wirelessly, delivering a fast, cost-effective method for remotely supporting users and managing BlackBerry device software lifecycles.
- Expanded Systems Compatibility – BlackBerry Enterprise Server v4.1.5 is certified with Microsoft® Exchange 2007 SP1 and supports IBM® Lotus® Domino® versions 7.03 and 8.0.

A BlackBerry task management application specifically designed for students was recently released. It sounds like a cool idea. The only question is will anyone buy it.
StudentBerry was designed by a student with specific needs of students in mind. As I said, it sounds like a cool idea. What I know about students, however, is that they are some of the cheapest, non software purchasing except for games consumers around.
Is StudentBerry targeted to a demographic that simply won’t pay for $24.99 for a BlackBerry application?
Hey Class! Welcome Back to BlackBerry 101. You might say we did the Law School thing and took a full month off between semesters, but here we are again, ready to tackle another four months worth of lectures before summer break.
To kick off the first lecture of the new year we thought it would be wise to spend a week teaching users how to actually use CrackBerry.com's site features, especially our BlackBerry Help and Discussion Forums. Our member community has been growing by leaps and bounds, and many of our potential and new members are not familiar with using an online forum to get and give help. BlackBerry 101 lectures are great - but sometimes you need to find an answer to your problem NOW and it might not be covered in one of our weekly lectures. By learning to use the CrackBerry.com site to its full potential, you can tap into our database of already-answered questions and knowledgable community of BlackBerry Addicts!
I'm sure you have heard that famous line, "Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime". That's what we're doing this week, but in CrackBerry style.
Our CrackBerry.com moderator Trevor has put together a week's worth of lessons on How to Use the CrackBerry Forums, starting with the basics of registering with the site and he will add a new lecture each day this week (How To Search the Forums, Reply to Posts and Create new Threads, etc.) so be sure to visit daily. The post will remain sticked in our Tips, How-To and FAQ forum so it will be easy for new members to find at all times. Big Thanks to Trevor for putting this together - it's going to come in VERY Handy!
As for BlackBerry 101, let me know if you have any requests for lecture topics you'd like to see covered here over the weeks and months ahead. We have quite a few ideas planned, but want to make sure we're tackling the subjects you want covered! Comment on this post with your ideas!

During the CES, Trimble has announced that three of their GPS apps — AllSport GPS, Geocache Navigator and Trimble Outdoors — are now available for CDMA-based GPS-equipped BlackBerry smartphones.
The three applications allow select BlackBerry device owners to use their smartphones as they participate in outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, fishing, biking, running, walking, or even geocaching.
With AllSport GPS — and lot of hard work, we might add — users can maintain their fitness routine and track exercise activity by monitoring time, speed, calories burned, and distance traveled during outdoor workouts. Geocache Navigator enables users to participate in the so called high-tech treasure hunt activities that are rapidly gaining widespread adoption worldwide. Finally, Trimble Outdoors is a complete outdoor trip planning and navigation solution that allows consumers to review and plan trips online, send routes, maps and waypoints wirelessly to their GPS phone and then use the phone as a full-featured GPS navigator to guide their adventures.
Interested? The Trible's apps are available through Handmark and cost $39.99 per year or $5.99 per month… Full release follows after the jump.
PRESS RELEASE - Trimble announced the availability of three of its GPS phone software applications for CDMA-based BlackBerry smartphones with built-in GPS, which include the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition and BlackBerry Pearl 8130 smartphones from Research In Motion (RIM). The AllSport GPS, Geocache Navigator and Trimble Outdoors applications from the Trimble Outdoors family of GPS-on-cellular products and services provide BlackBerry smartphone users with the on-the-go lifestyle solutions they demand.
The announcement was made today at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Trimble's GPS-on-cellular applications will be showcased at the CES in Las Vegas from January 7-10 at Booth # 4714 in the North Hall.
With the introduction of the Trimble Outdoors applications on CDMA-based BlackBerry smartphones, a greater range of consumers can now harness the power of GPS for their outdoor lifestyle activities. Following the earlier release of the three applications for the GSM-based BlackBerry smartphones with built-in GPS, consumers with devices such as the popular and compact BlackBerry Pearl 8130 smartphone can now utilize their smartphone as they participate in outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking, fishing, biking, running, walking, or even geocaching.
"Trimble has extended its breath of offerings by making our GPS-based software applications available for CDMA-based BlackBerry smartphones," said Larry Fox, business development director, Trimble Outdoors. "BlackBerry smartphones offer a distinctive platform for experiencing outdoor adventures."
AllSport GPS
With the AllSport GPS application, BlackBerry smartphone users looking to jumpstart or maintain their fitness routine can track exercise activity by monitoring time, speed, calories burned, and distance traveled during outdoor workouts. Additionally, users may download map images and recommended routes to their phones, view performance statistics, and store workouts to monitor progress or share with friends. The application supports a variety of outdoor activities including walking, running, cycling and mountain biking.
Geocache Navigator
Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunt that is rapidly gaining widespread adoption worldwide. Geocache Navigator is the only application that brings geocaching capabilities to the mobile phone and provides real time access to geocaching.com, the largest geocache database in the world. Using their GPS phone, geocachers can seek the caches using a uniquely constructed, radar-like interface that guides them toward their destination. Additionally, phone screens provide compass-based navigation, maps, speed, heading, location, distance, cache descriptions logs, hints and other useful information for both the most experienced and novice user.
Trimble Outdoors
Trimble Outdoors is a complete outdoor trip planning and navigation solution that allows consumers to review and plan trips online, send routes, maps and waypoints wirelessly to their GPS phone and then use the phone as a full-featured GPS navigator to guide their adventures. The application allows users to get maps of their locations, track routes with a GPS bread-crumb trail, and mark and edit waypoints along the way. The application also features a digital compass displaying the user's coordinates, speed and heading. Users can also leverage the multi-media components of their phones to create photographic, video and audio notes of their trips for sharing online and viewing in Google Earth.
Availability and Pricing
Trimble's GPS-on-cellular applications are available now through Handmark for the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition and BlackBerry Pearl 8130 smartphones from leading CDMA carriers for $39.99 each per year or $5.99 each per month.

The largest BlackBerry show in the world, Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES), kicks off May 13th down in Orlando Florida. Word on the street is that a CDMA BlackBerry Curve could be announced before then.
That’s right, for all you Verizon subscribers that email RIMarkable everyday asking when the Verizon BlackBerry Curve will come, sometime in the next 4 months if the rumor is right.
CDMA versions of BlackBerry devices pretty consistently come out about a year after their GSM cousins. Will a CDMA BlackBerry Curve come out before WES? Possibly… The original BlackBerry Curve, however, didn’t come out until the end of May last year. I think that an official announcement of a CDMA BlackBerry Curve at WES, shortly followed by a launch on Verizon shortly thereafter is a bit more likely.
We have told you about StudentBerry before when it was announced in October but now it has finally been released for public consumption. The application costs $24.99 and is targeted towards helping students manage their tasks. Personally I wish this was around when I was in school.
Check out the software at www.studentberry.com and then you can download it at this link: www.studentberry.com/download. There is no word about a trial but I will try to follow up later once I give it a look. If you feel like checking it out yourself go to m.studentberry.com from your BlackBerry to download the application OTA.
From the StudentBerry website:

Down in Orlando at Lotusphere 2008, Research In Motion has announced a number of upgrades for the BlackBerry “that include enhanced messaging and collaboration, simpler management, enhanced security and expanded application development support.” Excuse me if I quote liberally, as this is a press release coming right from RIM.
“RIM continues to expand the capabilities of the multifaceted BlackBerry platform to allow an increasingly rich and productive mobile experience for our customers,” said Mike Lazaridis, President and Co-CEO at RIM. “The software enhancements demonstrated today will make BlackBerry smartphones more powerful than ever and even easier to manage.”
So what are the upgrades? Here they are, straight from RIM:
- Integration of “Documents To Go by DataViz” means you can edit Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files right on your BlackBerry. Previously, you needed a third-party app to edit Excel documents on your BB.
- Looking for an old email? It can be a pain in the ass if it’s no longer stored locally on your BlackBerry. But now you can search your entire server for the message you’re seeking.
- “Free-Busy Calendar Lookup - Users on the go will be able to check the availability of colleagues before sending a meeting request.”
- Advanced messaging features. If you’re running IBM Lotus Sametime and Microsoft Live Communications Server, you can integrate address books, and convert IM sessions to calls with ease.
There are also some IT upgrades, which include:
- BlackBerry Monitoring Service. To quote them, this will provide administrators with “enhanced monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting and reporting capabilities.”
- BlackBerry Web Desktop Manager. This will “increase deployment flexibility and simplify software upgrades by reducing the number of BlackBerry software components installed on end-user workstations.”
- Over-the-Air Device Software Upgrades. This does exactly what the name implies.
A few security upgrades are included too, including encrypted attachment viewing, a greater control for administrators over GPS, and more Bluetooth controls.
For the full gamut and descriptions, check out the official BlackBerry site.
BBSync is tossing out a rumor that we’ll see a CDMA Curve before the Wireless Enterprise Symposium in May. It doesn’t sound that far-fetched at all, certainly a valid contender for our Weekly Contest. The recent 8130 launch clearly gave our CDMA-using brothers a taste of BlackBerry love, and there’s no doubt that they’re looking for more. The Curve would fill that last gap in RIM’s CDMA line, but leaves us to wonder how long it will take for the BlackBerry 9000 to squeeze in there after it’s released. CDMA providers are still lacking in Wi-Fi BlackBerrys, so the 9000 could really hit the spot.

Are you a student with 100 assignments, exams and projects on the go at the same time? Enter StudentBerry...
StudentBerry is an application designed to help students manage their ever growing list of tasks and to-do's.
Key Features in StudentBerry:
This app was announced in October, but only now it has been released publicly. You can pick up a copy for $24.99. Not a bad price point at all for any student that needs help organizing their work :) I'd pay it!
RIM’s been attending the IBM Lotusphere convention, without having too much to show off. They’re touting the usual promises of native HTML e-mail viewing (soon, honest), on-device document editing and remote e-mail lookup, but nothing we haven’t heard before. There was one little bit about Lotus environments…
“New features for users running IBM Lotus Sametime® and Microsoft Live Communications Server will include improved address book integration, IM contact “click to call”, IM session “convert to call” and advanced emoticon support, allowing co-workers to collaborate and communicate more effectively using their BlackBerry smartphones.”
Any Lotus users in the house? Maybe this is old hat, but we don’t get too much word from that neck of the IT woods.

We just got word that the CDMA version of the BlackBerry Curve will be coming within the next few months. Its going to be modeled the BlackBerry 8330 and will sport the Curve’s current design with the full qwerty keyboard and 2.0 megapixel camera.
We should see the BlackBerry Curve 8330 launch around if not before RIM’s WES 2008 conference in May. Stay tuned for more details as we get them…

Lots of news and coming from RIM today at Lotusphere 2008 for enterprise users on the BES. Some of the big news: the ability to Download and Edit Documents (thanks to DataViz); the ability to remotely search and retrieve email messages from server (even if they are no longer on the phone); free/busy calendar look-up (check availability before sending out a meeting request); and HTML and rich text email rendering (wooHOO!). A number of management, security and development improvements have also been made to the BlackBerry Platform... read the full press release (below) for all the details!
Keep in mind these are BES improvements. Hopefully some of these will soon make their way to BIS customers in the near future as well. Not sure what the difference between BES and BIS are? Click Here to read our BlackBerry 101 article on it!

Egal, alles funktioniert jetzt wieder einwandfrei.

RIM is attending Lotusphere 2008 and took the oppertunity to announce a new update the BlackBerry platform. Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel documents will now be editable on a BlackBerry and you will also have the ability to preform an email search that spans both your device and the server in your office. Windows Mobile 6 already has this, S60 doesn't do any of this as far as I know and these are certainly features the business crowd are going to love. Expect to see this rolled out in the first half of 2008.

Stefano at BBWorld has been cordially invited to RIM and Vodafone’s party for the Italian launch of the BlackBerry 8110, happening on January 30th. The GPS-enabled Pearl’s launch was predicted by Jibi last November, and will be available in 3 colors - red, blue, and grey - and also features a 2 megapixel camera. There’s no word yet on when the rest of the world will get their hot little hands on it, but if past experience with the 8120 release is any indicator, the GPS Pearl will spread to other European countries pretty quickly and North America will get it… well, sooner or later.
